Professor Dr. Venkata Reddy Poluru has done his M.tech from Heat Power - Refrigeration & Air-conditioning, College of Engineering, Anantapur, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, done his Ph.D at CFD Centre, Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute Science, Bangalore.Nine years of experience in research and teaching in the fields of Computational Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Refrigeration & Air-conditioning for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Domains.

Mechanics of solid lab is conducted for II/Aero students in the 1st semester. The important lab experiments carried out in this lab include the following :
Direct Tension Test
Bending Test
Torsion Test
Hardness Test
Test on springs
Compression, impact and punch shear test.

The fundamentals of CAD and Design process concepts are experimented in the CAD Lab. The CAD Lab is meant for II/Aero students and is held in the 2nd semester. The important experiments include the following: Geometric Modeling constituting 2D,3D and part drawing Solid and surface modeling from part drawings.

Fluid Mechanics Lab is an important lab for understanding the subject " Mechanics of Fluids" taught to II/Aero students in the 1st semester. The following experiments are conducted in this Lab: Calibration of Venturimeter, Orficemeter, Rectangular and Triangular notch. Discharge Co-efficient of Orifice. Coefficient of loss of head in a sudden contraction and friction factor Verification of Bernoulli's theorem
The Labs are equipped with the following Licensed Software
SOLID WORKS : Consisting of 2-D and 3-D Modeling Package
COSMOS:FEM based analysis package.
