MLR Institute of Technology conducted the First Alumni Meet of the Institute with the First Out going MBA 2006-08 Batch during the Annual Day celebrations of Institute On 14th February 2009.The Meet was organized by the MBA Department in the presence of Chairman Sri M LaxmanReddy Garu Secretary Sri M Rajasekar Reddy Garu Ex HOD Dr E Murali Darshan Placement Officer KSN Raju I/c HOD Ms Tulasi Suvarna HOD's of all the Departments, faculty Members and students of outgoing batch and current batch.

The Presence of the Management, Faculty and Students who attended the Meet made the Evening Colorful. The Event started with a Welcome Dance by Shiva Lakshmi MBA 1st Year Student who invited the Guests to inaugurate the Ist Meet by Lighting the Lamp. The Chief Guest Sri M Laxman Reddy conveyed the most valuable message that students should grab the opportunities and make everyone feel proud of their achievements, mould their personality in the Institute and make a career during their study period.

The Secretary Sri M Rajasekhar Reddy the dynamic Force behind all the Events like Techno Management Nikashopala, Zavtra, Student development programmes, Faculty development programmes, Seminars, local Industrial Visits, HR Meets, and Industrial Tours which helps the students to develop soft skills and management skills to make them Global Leaders.He congratulated all the students who got placed in various Multi National Companies. He advised the students to utilize the Facilitiesprovided by the Institute in molding their Careers of their Choice and emphasized the need to organize alumni Meets a platform to maintain a continuous bond between the Industry and the Institute as they are the brand ambassadors of the Institute in the process become Role Models and Idols for their juniors.He Congratulated the Department and Faculty Members for their efforts in placing the outgoing batch students in Various MNC's..

The Ex HOD Dr E Murali Darshan who was instrumental in achieving the Placements along with the Placement officer and Faculty members congratulated the students for a high placement Record for the Department and requested the students to share their Experiences with Industry in order to fill the Gap between the Academia and the Industry and emphasized the need for Alumni Meets which will help the students to mould their Careers and bring Laurels to the Institution. The Placement Officer KSN Raju explained the role of Training and Placement Cell in the Institute wherein the students will get to know the soft skills and Technical Skills required by the Industry to make them productive from Day One.He Congratulated the First Outgoing Batch Students wherein 30 Students on a Batch of 56 got placed in Multi National Companies like GenPact, NCL Industries Ltd,Axis Bank,ICICI Bank,IDBI,Citi Financials,Reliance Money,India Bulls,India Infoline bringing laurels to the department and requested the students to give Feedback on the Industry and Career prospects to the upcoming batches in the Institute.

The I/c HOD Ms Tulasi Suvarna emphasized the need for the students to undergo Summer Internship programmes with the Industry which gives insight to the Academia Industry partnership and congratulated the students who got selected for Internship programme with companies like Mahindra Finance,Nokia Ltd,Bajaj Capital Ltd, IBSN Inc,Reliance Money Ltd and Electro Mech. which will also help the students to build a Mentor relationship with the Industry .She advised to utilize their valuable time at the Institute and make a career of their Choice The Inaugural Address was followed by a power point presentation by the students on department activities. Interactive session with the senior batch students and feed back on the Infrastructure Facilities available at the Institute.

MLR Institute of Technology a premier Institute in Engineering Education marching towards Center of Excellence. The Institute celebrated the 3rd Alumni Meet on 16th April 2011 at the Institute. The Chief Guest for the function was Sri M. Laxman Reddy garu, Chairman with Sri M. Rajasekhar Reddy, Secretary as Guest of Honour Dr. R. Kotaiah, Director, MLRITM and Dr. B. Chandrasekhar, Principal MLRIP were also participated.

The Meet was attended by 2008, 2009, 2010 batch MBA / B.Tech. / MCA students working in various MNC's stressed the importance of the meet to share their experiences at work and improve the talents and give inputs to improve their Education System to make the students productive and responsible citizens.

The Alumni students were honoured with Alumni Awards for their achievements and the meeting ended with a cultured programme DJ followed by dinner.

On this occasion Principal said that MLR Institute of Technology was stared in the year 2005 and is an upcoming college affiliated to JNTU and approved by AICTE. The Institute is a Star JKC Centre and Nodal Centre for Institute for Electronic Governance Activities and has the distinction of becoming a Star JKC in its third year of Incorporation and the Institute will become a Centre for Excellence in moulding the Students to make them Global Leaders as per the JNTUH evaluation taking the pass percentage in to consideration the institute ranks 25th under JNTUH constituent colleges.

All the students, staff members, HODs, Vice-Principal Dr. K. Venkateswara Reddy, Principal Dr. P. Bhaskara Reddy and Secretary Sri M. Rajasekhar Reddy, Chairman Sri. Marri Laxman Reddy, Dr. R.
