The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering offers four year B.Tech Programm with an intake of 120 students. The department has state-of-art laboratories equipped with latest electronics instruments. Students are issued the bread board and the necessary components to wire the circuit and conduct the lab experiments. The department is strong in faculty who have vast experiences in teaching.

Assoc.Prof.Panduranga rao

Assoc.Prof.Panduranga rao, an accomplished professor with excellent credentials in Electronics & Communications Engineering with 8 years of teaching experience.He has done his M.tech from JNTU and presently pursuing his Ph.D from JNTU.His areas of interest and specialization are Digital Signal Processing and Embedded Systems.He has coordinated JNTU Zonal Sports 2009 at MLRIT and organized technical fest Zavtra-09

Professor Poornachandra Rao is one of the eminent faculty in the field of Electronics and Communications Engg.He has worked in NIT Warangal for 33 years.

Professor Murali Prasad is highly qualified faculty member.He was associated with Premier GATE coaching centres like ACE and TEA for 15 years.

Analog Communication Lab is conducted during the II- Semester for II/ECE students. The following lab practicals are conducted in this lab
Amplitude and frequency modulation and demodulation
Diode detector and mixer Characteristics
SSB System
Squelch Circuit
Frequency Synthesiser
AGC Characteristics

An important lab which is included in the lab practicals curriculum for II/CSE/IT-II Sem and III/ECE-II branches. The lab practicals include the following:
Microprocessor 8086.
Interfacing
Micro controller 8051

EDC Lab is in the curriculum for the 1st year students of all branches. It is a very important lab and helps the 1st year students in understanding the basics of Electronic Devices and Circuits. It includes the following Lab practical.
Electronic workshop practice (in 6 lab session)
16 Experiments for Lab examinations covering for Junction Diode, Zener diode, Transistors characteristics, Rectifiers, Amplifiers and oscillator.

ET Lab is conducted during the II-Sem for II Year ECE Students. A total of 10 Experiments are required to be conducted and include the following:
Resonance, Time response of RC/RL Network, Network parameters, Power transfer theorem, Thevenins and Nortons equivalent circuits.
DC Shunt Generator, DC Shunt Machines 3 phase induction motor and regulation of alternation.
