Fluid Mechanics Lab is an important lab for understanding the subject " Mechanics of Fluids" taught to II/Aero students in the 1st semester. The following experiments are conducted in this Lab: Calibration of Venturimeter, Orficemeter, Rectangular and Triangular notch. Discharge Co-efficient of Orifice. Coefficient of loss of head in a sudden contraction and friction factor Verification of Bernoulli's theorem .

Prof.Ch. Koteswara Rao

Professor Ch. Koteswara Rao has done his M.tech from JNTU,presently pursuing his Ph.D from JNTU.He has 11 years of teaching and 3 years of industry experience.He served various engineering colleges at various levels.He acted as placement coordinator during 2006-08.more than 100 students placed under his guidance.He has been CoConvenor for the Technical Fest ZAVTRA conducted at MLRIT in 2009
