Placements

A Separate placement cell has been created in the 1st year of inception of the college. A. MOU has been signed with Globarena Technology Private Limited, Yousuguda, Hyderabad for conducting Placement Training for the students of this college. It will be our endeavor to bring best companies to the college for on-campus placement from the year 2007 onwards.

  • Passed out from M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology a premier Institute in Bangalore
  • Having more than 15 years experience in Office Automation, Employment Generation and youth services Dept.,Government of AP, Information Technology and Engineering Institutions.
  • Conducted more than 200 campus drives and placed around 1500 students from B.Tech, MCA & MBA.

MLR Institute of Technology has the unique distinction of placing their students in their pre-final year of study and created / enhanced awareness about relevance of IT in business among the student community. The Institute has made concrete efforts by establishing IBM Centre of Excellence for promoting project think approaches technologies for the future and problem solving approach to enhance skill set among the student community.

The Institute has so far interacted with more than 126 companies and around 233 students are placed in various MNC's.



TRAINING & PLACEMENTS
  • A separate T & P cell is constituted for career guidance, training & placements.
  • Training programmes in technical, aptitude and soft skills.
  • Several training programmes were conducted for personality development and life skills to make the students industry ready.
  • MLR Institute of Technology is the only institute in Andhra Pradesh to conduct online & written examination for campus recruitments where more than 35000 students from all over Andhra Pradesh have taken the recruitment test conducted by MNCs like., Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, HCL Technologies Ltd, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Mahindra Satyam, iGATE Global Solutions, Mphasis, IBM, Tata Advanced Systems, Dell and Infotech Enterprises Ltd.
  • The Placement Cell interacted with 106 Companies and placed more than 475 students for Internships & Placements.
  • Total students placed in A.Y.2007-08 – 43; A.Y.2008-09 – 70; A.Y.2009-10 – 127 and A.Y.2010-11 - 235 were placed through placement/Internship programmes at the institute and major recruiters are Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Tata Advanced Systems, Syntel Inc, Infotech Enterprises Ltd, Computer Sciences Corporation, IBM and L&T Infotech etc.

ALUMNI OUTREACH

  • The Institute has Alumni Association under the name and Style of MLR Alumni Association and conducted the First Alumni Meet on 14th Feb 2009 with the first batch 0f 2008 passed out MBA students attending the meet.
  • The Association has honoured the 2009 batch B.Tech , MCA along with MBA  students  by conducting the Second Alumni Meet at hotel Blue Fox on 13th March 2010 where more than 200 students participated in the  Meet.
  • The Association is conduct 3rd Alumni meet for 2010 batch B.Tech, MCA & MBA students on 16th April 2011 at our college Auditorium.
